That hostel in Lisbon ruined me for coworking spaces forever

I stayed at this place called Home Lisbon Hostel back in March and their rooftop had a solid table setup with surprisingly fast wifi, like 200 Mbps fast. The thing is, the energy was so social that I actually got more done sitting with strangers than I ever do in a quiet coworking spot. Now I book hostels with good work areas instead of paying $30 a day for some sterile office, and my output honestly went up. Anyone else ditch traditional coworking spaces for hostel vibes, or am I just weird?

Ever notice how nobody talks about the background noise thing? Hostels have that low hum of life, people laughing, keyboards clacking, pots banging. Coworking places are so dead quiet you hear your own breathing, which is way more distracting. Your brain locks onto the silence and starts making up stuff to worry about. That's why you got more done, the noise gave your head something to chew on. Not weird at all, just smarter than the $30 crowd.
