Realized I was booking flights wrong after a $62 mistake in Lisbon
I used to book flights the second I picked a city, thinking I was locking in a deal. Last month in Lisbon I checked my calendar and saw I'd booked a flight home 2 days before a client call I actually needed wifi for, so I paid $62 to change it. What tipped me off was a nomad friend asking why I never check the time zone before booking. Now I look at the time difference first. How do you all pick dates without getting burned by a call you forgot about?
