PSA: My portable power bank died mid-shift in Chiang Mai, stranded me at a co-working spot
My Anker 20000mAh unit decided to stop holding charge after 8 months, and it picked the worst time. I was in Chiang Mai at Punspace Nimman when my laptop hit 15% and the brick just refused to output, even though it showed 3 bars. I had to ask around for a loaner from 3 strangers and found a guy with a spare wall socket, but now I'm paranoid about relying on gear that's been through too many tropical heat cycles. Anyone else had batteries fail fast in SE Asia humidity, or am I just unlucky with this batch?
