My friend in Medellin said he works from 8pm to 4am now to match his clients in Sydney

Honestly, I always thought keeping a normal 9-5 schedule was key to staying sane on the road. But my buddy in Colombia told me he switched his whole day around to sync with his team in Australia, and he loves it. He said, 'I get the whole city to myself in the mornings, and the internet is faster at night.' Ngl, it made me rethink my whole 'anchor hours' rule. Has anyone else flipped their workday for a timezone and actually stuck with it?

My mate in Lisbon did that for a New York team and totally burned out after three months. How long has your friend kept it up?

Yeah three months is rough. Was your mate just on a bad team or was it the time zone thing that killed him? Like did he have to be online for New York's whole work day on Lisbon time, because that's a midnight finish every night. I feel like that's the real killer, not just the distance.
