My bank locked me out in a Bangkok airport and I almost lost everything

Happened to me in Mexico last year. Best thing to do is always have a backup credit card or a separate account with a few hundred in it just for travel. Also, call your bank before you go and let them know your dates and locations, that stopped it from happening again for me. Another tip is to keep a picture of your passport and cards on your phone, just in case.

Oh man, I had the exact same thing happen in Spain, and that backup card trick is a lifesaver for sure.
