Last month in Medellin I figured out the coworking coffee trick

I was spending $4 a day on coffee at coworking spots until a barista told me most places let you bring your own grounds for free. Now I just carry a small bag of local beans and save $80 a month. Anyone else found hidden perks at their regular spots?

My friend Carla tried this at her coworking spot in Buenos Aires after I told her about it. She brought in some fancy beans from a local roaster and now the barista even saves her the first pour from the fresh batch. She's been bragging about saving like sixty bucks a month and getting treated like a VIP.

Ugh that is so cool! Meanwhile I tried bringing my own bag of beans to my local coffee shop and the barista just looked at me like I had three heads and handed it back without a word. I think he was just judging my choice of roast lmao. Your friend got lucky with that setup though, sixty bucks a month is nothing to sneeze at especially when you're getting first dibs on the fresh batch. I'm over here still paying full price for burnt espresso while she's living the dream.
