Just realized coworking spaces in Chiang Mai are way too social for actual work

I spent 6 months at Punspace in Chiang Mai last year and got pulled into conversations constantly. The networking was amazing but I barely got 3 hours of real work done most days. Now I'm debating between hostels with quiet hours versus dedicated coworking hubs that feel like libraries. Does anyone else struggle to balance meeting people and actually finishing tasks? Which side do you lean toward more?

Man, "pulled into conversations constantly" hit me hard... I had the exact same thing happen at a coworking spot in Bali. People see you with your laptop and just assume you're open for a chat about visas or the best smoothie bowl spot. I started wearing headphones even when I wasn't listening to anything, just to pretend I was busy. It's rough because you want to be friendly but also need to get your actual work done.
