I was dead wrong about coworking spaces in Chiang Mai

For two years I thought coworking spaces were a total scam. Why pay $150 a month when a cafe with free wifi costs $2 for a coffee? Then last month I tried Punspace in the Nimman area and realized I was getting zero work done in cafes because of noise and bad power outlets. After 3 days there I finished a project that had been dragging for weeks. Now I'm wondering if the cost is worth it for everyone or just people in expensive cities like me. Has anyone else changed their mind on something they swore was a waste of money?

YES exactly this. Cafes are TERRIBLE for real work once you actually try to focus.

Wait, they charge $150 a month for a coworking space in Chiang Mai? That's insane, I thought Thailand was supposed to be cheap.
