I finally stopped booking hostels for work trips and everything changed

After 2 years of digital nomading, I used to grab the cheapest bunk in Chiang Mai and try to edit videos in a loud common area, but last month I noticed my focus was shot and my deadlines kept slipping. It clicked when I watched a guy set up a full monitor setup in a $9/night private room and finish the same project I'd been wrestling for days. Anyone else pay extra for solo space on work trips, or am I the last one to figure this out?
