I finally picked a coworking space in Bali over a cafe and it saved my deadlines
Honestly I was going back and forth for like 2 weeks on this. Working from a cafe in Canggu cost me like $3 a day for coffee and I thought it was fine till I hit a week of dropped Zoom calls. I switched to Dojo Coworking for $150 a month and got fiber internet that never flaked once. The trade off was losing the beach vibe but I finished 3 client projects on time instead of begging for extensions. Has anyone else had a bad run with cafe wifi in Ubud or did I just pick the wrong spots?

Honestly this is just the hidden cost of trying to mix work with play when you're remote. The cafe wifi seems fine until you actually need reliability for something important. Same thing happened to me at a laundromat near my place that had free wifi - it worked great for scrolling but the second I needed to send a large file it crapped out. People don't realize the cheap option often has a hidden time tax that ends up costing more in the long run.

Right after I locked my keys in the scooter on day one of coworking I knew things were looking up.
