Hit 15 countries in 18 months and my burnout meter just exploded

I ticked off my 15th country last week in Thailand and realized I haven't had a real conversation with anyone in 2 months. Has anyone else hit a travel milestone and just felt hollow instead of accomplished?

Nah, 15 countries is rookie numbers. Keep going until you find yourself again.

Yeah the "hollow instead of accomplished" part hit me right in the gut. I did 12 countries in 14 months and by the end I was taking photos of my food just to prove to myself I was having fun. It's like you're collecting stamps on a passport but your brain is just going through the motions. I remember sitting in a hostel common room in Vietnam with zero energy to talk to anyone around me because I was so tired of the same small talk. Have you found a way to slow down yet or are you still stuck in that checklist mode?
