Guadalajara coworking space with 40 Mbps upload was a lie
I booked a coworking desk in Guadalajara for 3 weeks based on their site promising 40 Mbps upload for video calls. First day, my Zoom kept freezing and the host said they cap uploads at 8 Mbps during peak hours. I learned to always ask for a speed test screenshot before paying a deposit, and now I carry a cheap portable router with a local SIM as backup. Has anyone else gotten burned by coworking spaces overselling their internet in Mexico or elsewhere? What do you do to verify before you commit?
