Dude that's rough. I've been in that situation before where you find a good spot with wifi and just lose track of time. Six hours is a lot though, I gotta be honest. I can see both sides but the barista didn't have to yell at you. A simple "hey we need the table" would have been way more chill. Hope you found a better cafe to work from after that.

Honestly six hours at a single coffee shop table during a busy time is kind of asking for it though. The barista probably has a manager breathing down their neck about turnover, and you're basically taking up a spot that could've served like three or four different paying customers in that time.
