Appreciation post: overheard a guy in a coworking space change my mind about coworking memberships
I was in this coworking spot in Medellin last week, just typing away, and I heard this dude on a call say he pays $50 a month for a basic desk and gets way more done than at the $300 places. He said the fancy ones just make him feel like he's on vacation, not working. That hit me because I've been wasting money on flashy spots with free beer for 6 months. Now I'm gonna downgrade and see if my focus actually gets better. Anyone else find that cheaper coworking spaces help you actually get stuff done?
