Spent $400 on a Wacom tablet upgrade that completely changed my workflow for the better.

I was hesitant to drop that much, but the pressure sensitivity and shortcut buttons cut my project time nearly in half, so what tablet or tool upgrade actually made a difference for you guys?

Man, mechanical keyboards are a dangerous rabbit hole. I bought one to be more productive and now I have three different switches and a custom keycap set that cost more than the keyboard itself. It's honestly a problem. But yeah, my typing speed went up like crazy and I swear my joints don't ache as much after a long session. Those Wacom shortcut buttons are a lifesaver too, I remapped mine for undo and brush size and it's like a whole new world. Just don't ask me how much I've spent on hobby upgrades this year, my wallet is still in shock.

Switched to a dual monitor setup last year. Having my reference images on one screen and my work on the other stopped all that annoying alt-tabbing. It seems simple, but it saved my sanity on big illustration projects.

Grabbed a mechanical keyboard on a whim. The tactile feedback lets me type without looking down, so my rough drafts get out way faster. It just makes the whole process feel less like a chore.
