Spent 3 hours fighting a color calibration issue that was a simple setting
I was trying to get my prints to match my screen for a client project last week. After 2 hours of adjusting curves, profiles, and even buying a new calibrator tool I swear it was broken. Turned out my monitor was stuck in vivd mode instead of sRGB the whole time. I must have checked every menu except the picture mode one. That one toggle fixed everything in about 10 seconds flat. Has anyone else had a similar facepalm moment with monitor settings that cost them way too much time?

Funny how we always assume the problem is way more complicated than it is. Reminds me of when I spent an hour trying to pair my Bluetooth speaker to my phone, only to realize the speaker was still plugged into my laptop from the night before. It's like our brains are trained to look for the advanced fix first and skip the obvious one. Sometimes the simplest answer is right in front of us, but we just refuse to see it until we've exhausted every other option.
