Question about how you handle color palettes now vs. when you started
I used to just grab any random set of colors from the default swatches in Procreate and hope they worked together. But after a bad experience last June where a portrait commission looked like a clown mess, I started using Adobe Color to generate palettes first. Now I always pick 3-5 colors and test them on a small thumbnail before I touch the main canvas. Has anyone else found a method that stops you from ending up with muddy or clashing colors?

Respect where you're coming from but I actually found Adobe Color made me overthink things and killed my flow. Pre-made palettes from sites like Coolors let me stay more spontaneous, does anyone else find too much planning hurts your process?

@stellablack what do you actually end up changing most often after pre-made palettes feel off?
