My drawing tablet pen broke mid-commission and I had to switch to a mouse

I was about 3 hours into a portrait commission last Tuesday and the nib on my stylus just snapped off inside the tablet. I didn't have any spare nibs on hand so I had to finish the piece using a regular mouse. Honestly I was worried it would look terrible but after a few minutes of awkward clicking I actually got the hang of the curves and shading. The final piece turned out okay surprisingly but man I never realized how much I rely on that pressure sensitivity. Has anyone else had to finish a digital piece with a mouse when their pen died on them?

Never really thought pressure sensitivity mattered that much until I had to switch to a trackpad once.

Hard disagree, pressure sensitivity is a total game changer for sketching.
