Just wasted $250 on a drawing tablet that felt like a scam

I picked up one of those cheaper drawing tablets from a brand I saw advertised on Instagram. The specs looked fine on paper, pressure sensitivity was supposed to be decent. But when I actually tried to use it in Clip Studio Paint, the cursor would jump around randomly and the pen would lose connection every 10 minutes. I spent like 3 hours trying to update drivers and tweak settings in the control panel. Nothing fixed it. The return window was only 14 days and I missed it by like a week because I was too hopeful it would work out. Has anyone else had luck with those off brand tablets or is it just a lost cause?

The whole tech market is like that now though - companies bank on you missing the return window because they know most people want to give it a fair shot before giving up. Kinda like how gyms count on people never canceling their memberships.

Get used to companies designing everything around their return windows now.
