Just realized everyone keeps using the same free brush pack from 2018

I see so many pieces in the showcase that use that same old 'digital painting essentials' set from DeviantArt. It makes everything look flat now. I switched to a custom set I built over 6 months and the texture difference is huge. Does anyone else think we need more unique brush talk here?

Remember when @jana_lewis16's gallery was just that one pack, feels like a lifetime ago.

Oh man, calling me out like that. My whole gallery from 2019 is basically a shrine to that exact pack. It was like a security blanket for so long. Finally forced myself to learn how to tweak the spacing and texture settings, and it was a game changer.
