Hit 100 followers on my art page today
Didn't think it would happen. I post weird abstract stuff mostly. But someone commented asking for prints. That felt good. Started this page 4 months ago. Been grinding every night after work. Now I'm looking at commissions for the first time. Anyone else get surprised by their own growth?

Honestly that "someone asking for prints" moment hits different right? Its like validation from a stranger who actually wants to put your stuff on their wall. Ngl I think that kind of random support means more than just follower numbers. Tbh the grind after work is real and its crazy how those late nights add up to something you didnt expect. Sometimes the weird abstract stuff is what people are looking for even if you thought nobody would get it.

Yeah totally, "that validation from a stranger" part really got me @kelly338. Last week some random person messaged me asking if I could make a bigger version of a little sketch I did of a weird bird, and I think about it all the time now. Its not like getting a bunch of likes, its someone actually deciding they want to spend their money on something you made with your hands. That hits way harder than any follower count bump ever did. And yeah the late nights definitely add up, I find myself looking back at old stuff and barely remembering making it, like it came from somewhere else.
