From a dusty monitor to my own art gallery
I had this old monitor sitting around and figured why not use it for something cool. So I hooked it up to a cheap mini computer and set it to cycle through digital paintings I saved online. It scrolls through different pieces every few minutes, which keeps things from getting stale. I added some abstract art I found on a free site and it totally TRANSFORMS the vibe of my spare room. Guests always stop and stare when they come over, which feels pretty great. Setting it up was easier than I expected, just some cords and a bit of software tweaking. Now that blank wall is my favorite spot in the house. Honestly, it’s a fun way to enjoy art without spending a ton of money.

Did you find a particular program worked best for the cycling? I always assumed you needed a beefy computer to handle art displays without hiccups, but your post shot that idea down. It's a good reminder that simple solutions are often right there. My own spare wall is looking pretty empty now, so I might just copy your idea.

That cheap mini computer actually runs the whole gallery setup? I always assumed you'd need some fancy gear for smooth art displays. It's wild how simple the tech side ended up being.
