Chose flat lay over dramatic lighting for my portfolio, zero regrets
I had 3 days before the Digital Art Showcase deadline and had to pick between moody shadow shots or clean flat lays for my character designs. I went with the flat lays because they showed every line detail without fighting glare, and honestly the gallery visitors spent way more time on those pieces. Has anyone else dropped the cinematic look for simpler staging and seen better engagement? I am curious if I got lucky or if this is a real trend.
