Bought a Huion Kamvas 13 for $250 and it completely changed my line work

Honestly, I was using a cheap old tablet for years and my lines always looked shaky. The screen on this thing lets me draw directly on the art, and the pressure sensitivity is way better. Ngl, it took about a week to get used to, but now my sketches are so much cleaner. Anyone else have a drawing tablet that made a huge difference for them?

See, I had the total opposite thing happen. I splurged on a screen tablet and my lines got WORSE for a while. I was so focused on looking at my hand instead of the screen that my posture was awful. Honestly, going back to a simple intuos without a screen made me faster and cleaner. The disconnect thing forced me to learn the muscle memory better. Sometimes the fancy gear just adds a new problem to solve.

It's funny how our brains adapt to tools differently. My friend had a similar issue with a fancy camera, where all the new buttons just slowed her down. The simplest tool that gets out of your way is often the best one.
