Am I the only one who thinks the infinite zoom trend is lazy art? Just hit 100 followers on my page after 14 months of daily sketches | Digital Art Showcase

I finally hit 100 followers on my art page after posting daily sketches for 14 months, which is tiny but it felt huge to me. The thing I keep noticing is that so many big accounts just do that endless zoom into a repeating pattern and call it a showcase piece, and people eat it up with thousands of likes. I spent the weekend looking through 30 of the top posts on my feed and about 22 of them were zoom loops with barely any actual drawing in them. I get it, it looks cool for 5 seconds, but there is no line work to learn from and no story behind it. I kept grinding on faces and hands because that is where I suck the most. Curious if other people here still make stuff that shows the process or if zoom loops are just what works now.
