A 12 year old at my sister's gallery show made me rethink my whole portfolio

I mean, this kid walked up to my biggest piece, the one I spent 40 hours on, and said it looked like something you'd see on a phone wallpaper. Then he pointed at a tiny sketch I almost didn't include and said that one actually felt alive. Has anyone else had a random comment totally flip how you pick what to display?
