Threw $200 down the drain on a VPN service that promised total privacy
Signed up for a year of SecureShield VPN after reading glowing reviews, but found out 3 months in that they were logging my DNS queries the whole time when I checked their privacy policy again after a data breach announcement; has anyone else had a similar experience with a service that didn't deliver on its promises?

Same thing happened to me with a service called GhostVPN back in 2021. Paid for two years, found out they were logging IP addresses the whole time. @jesse_burns8 your buddy got taken for a ride too, that PrivacyGuard stuff is notorious for that. These companies talk a big game about privacy but their real business is your data. Makes you wonder if any of them are actually honest.

Heard a buddy signed up for PrivacyGuard and found out they were selling his browsing habits to advertisers.
