That moment I realized my password manager was set to the wrong vault
I was logging into my bank account last Tuesday and noticed the autofill suggested a password I didn't recognize. Turns out, I had accidentally switched my Bitwarden vault to the shared family one instead of my personal vault back in March. My dad could have seen all my logins including my work email and streaming services. Has anyone else accidentally mixed up vaults or folders in their password manager?

omg yes this literally happened to me last month with LastPass. I had three different folders for work, personal, and old accounts and somehow everything got jumbled up. I was trying to log into my Netflix and it kept suggesting a password for some grocery delivery service I haven't used since 2020. Spent an hour cleaning it all out on my phone while waiting for a doctor's appointment.

You're not wrong @elizabethhart, but honestly I think password managers get way too much blame for user error. I've used Bitwarden for like four years and never had that folder chaos happen. People just click "save password" on random sites and never clean it up, then blame the tool when their vault looks like a dumpster fire. Spend five minutes organizing right when you add a login and you never deal with that Netflix/grocery delivery mess in the first place lol.
