Those scheduled tech talks you mentioned. They never feel as real as the old random conversations did.

Ever been to a scheduled talk that actually surprised you? I used to skip them, thought they were all just boring scripts. Then I sat through one on cloud backups. The speaker went off topic, told stories about real system crashes. A few of us kept talking after, felt totally unplanned. That one chat changed how I see those events now.
