PSA: I saw a huge jump in fake delivery texts after the holidays in my town...

Last week, my mom in Springfield got a text about a 'missed package' with a link, and three years ago that same scam was just a basic email saying your account was locked.

Noticed the same thing here in my area. It's wild how they keep changing the message but the goal is always the same. My neighbor almost clicked one last month because it looked just like the real shipping company.

My uncle got one that looked exactly like a USPS text last week. @jana_hill27, the goal is the same but the scary part is how they copy real logos and fonts now. It makes the old advice to just check the sender number more important than ever.
