Just realized my old router was a security risk the whole time

I swapped out my 8-year-old Netgear last week for a used business-grade router from a local shop and my network scan dropped from 12 unknown devices to 2. What’s the oldest piece of gear you’re still running on your network?

That's a smart move swapping out that old router. Eight years is ancient in tech years, and those older models are full of known security holes that nobody patches anymore. I'm still running a five year old Asus that I got on clearance, and honestly, it's probably time to replace it too.
