I finally got a phishing email right in my own inbox and caught it
I was checking my email at home last night and got one that looked like it was from my bank, asking me to confirm a $1,200 charge. The link looked real but the sender address was a weird string of numbers. I checked the real bank site in a new tab and saw they had no alerts, so I just deleted it. What are some other small signs you all look for in a fake email?

Honestly I just delete anything from my bank without even checking the details. I mean they never email you for real stuff, it's always a text alert or a note inside the app. If it hits the inbox, it's fake to me. Checking the sender is good but they spoof those now too. It's not worth the risk to even click the link to look at it.

Relate to this hard, I once deleted a real bill because it looked too sketchy.
