Had a guy on Reddit tear apart my password habits last month

He pointed out that I was reusing the same 12 character password across 5 different accounts, so I switched to a password manager and now none of my logins share a single password, has anyone else had that awkward moment where you realize how lazy you were with security?

Got a password manager myself last year after I found out my main email password was also my Netflix and old gaming forum password. What was the thing that finally pushed you to make the switch, was it just that one guy calling you out or did you have something else happen to scare you straight?

That's wild, @michaelw26 - did you ever actually check to see if any of your accounts got accessed with that shared password, or did you just dodge a bullet and get lucky?
