Had a coworker tell me my passwords were way too simple
I used to do stuff like "Summer2023!" thinking it was fine because it had a symbol and a number. Then a guy in IT security pointed out that it still uses dictionary words and a predictable pattern. He showed me how easy those are to crack with basic tools. So now I pick random phrases like "PurpleCouchDance42!" and it feels a lot safer. Anyone else have to re-learn passwords the hard way?

PurpleCouchDance42!" is genius lmao, I'm stealing that idea.

Honestly, I see it differently. PurpleCouchDance42 feels a bit try-hard to me, I'd rather go with something simple and random like TofuNinja99.
