Got my debit card skimmed at a Tulsa gas pump and now I do one weird thing at every machine
Last Tuesday I pulled into a station off I-44 in Tulsa and used my debit card at the pump like I always do. Two days later my bank texted me about a $400 charge at a Walmart three states away. I now wiggle every card reader before I put my card in, and if it moves even a little, I walk inside and pay cash. Turns out those skimmers sit right on top of the real slot and look almost perfect. Does anyone else do the wiggle test, or am I just paranoid now?
