Can we talk about how I found my router still had the factory password set? Big oops.

You just left it wide open for anyone to hop on? That's wild to me. I'd be freaked out knowing my neighbors could be using my internet all that time. Changing that should be the first thing anyone does after setting up a new router, idk maybe it's just me. You're basically inviting strangers into your network. You really need to change it right now and pick something strong.

The phrase 'factory password' isn't quite right. It's usually the default password listed on a sticker on the router. Leaving it unchanged lets anyone nearby jump on your network easily. I had a similar issue years back and found strange devices using my wifi until I changed it.
