Back in 2012, I thought having a single strong password for everything was the smart move.
A friend saw me log into three different sites with the same one and just said, 'Man, you're putting all your eggs in one basket.' Has anyone else had a simple comment totally flip their thinking like that?

Wait, you were still doing that in 2012? I was already deep into the password manager panic by like 2008 after my old email got hacked. That comment from your friend was way too nice, honestly.

But is it really that big of a deal if someone uses a simple password for a low-stakes account?
