Why does everyone pack formal night clothes for a 4 night cruise?
I've done 9 cruises out of Miami and Tampa since 2011, and people still drag suits and dresses on short trips. On my 4 night run to Nassau in March, I watched a guy fight with a garment bag in the terminal for 20 minutes while his wife just carried a small tote. Checked bags took almost 90 minutes to reach our cabins and his suit never made it before dinner, so he ate in the buffet. I just bring one polo and dark pants and I've never felt out of place. Has anyone done the short cruise thing with zero dressy stuff and felt weird at the main dining room?
