Warning: heard a guy at the buffet say his travel insurance wouldn't cover a missed port, and I checked my policy that night
I was on the Lido deck of a Caribbean sailing out of Miami last month and the guy next to me at the omelet station was telling his wife their 7 day policy only kicked in after a 12 hour delay, which their flight missed by 40 minutes. He pulled out the fine print and there it was in small text, so I went back to my cabin and read mine line by line for the first time in 4 cruises. Does anyone here actually compare the delay hour limits before booking, or am I the only one who just clicked the cheapest plan?
