Showerthought: my uncle's 3 night Bahamas trip taught me more about cruising than 6 months of research
He said just book the cheap inside cabin and spend the savings on excursions. Did Nassau and Freeport for $850 total and had a blast. Anyone else skip the balcony and never look back?

My aunt swears the room is just for sleeping and showering. Booked an inside cabin on a 7 day Alaska run and spent the extra cash on a whale watch and floatplane tour.
