My dad said he'd never do a 3 day cruise, then he did one and I haven't heard the end of it
He swore up and down for years that anything shorter than 7 nights out of Miami wasn't a real vacation, just a floating buffet. Then his buddy talked him into a 3 night run to Nassau and he came back talking like a cruise evangelist. Now he tells everyone the short trips are the move because you get the whole thing without burning a full week of PTO. So which is it, are 3 night cruises a legit trip or just a taste test for the real thing?

Wait your dad called short cruises a "floating buffet" for years and now hes out here preaching about them? That is a wild flip. Did his buddy slip something in his drink or whats going on lol
