Just paid $38 for the faster boarding line and I'm still not sure if it was worth it
So on our last trip out of Galveston my wife and I did the whole priority boarding thing for the first time. We paid about $38 total for the two of us and I keep going back and forth on it. The line at the terminal was pretty long that morning, so we basically walked past maybe 200 people and were on the ship in like fifteen minutes. But here's the thing, our room still wasn't ready for another two hours, so we just sat in the buffet with our bags like everyone else. My wife says she'd do it again just to skip standing around, and she's probably right about that part. I'm mostly wondering if the real value is more about getting the early lunch spot than anything. Curious if anyone here swears by the fast lane or feels like it's just an upcharge for a nicer waiting spot.
