A bartender on the Carnival Breeze in Cozumel gave me a rule I still use for shore days
On my 5th cruise last month, I got off the ship in Cozumel planning to hit three shops and a beach in 4 hours, and the bartender stopped me. He said to pick one thing and do it well, because the pier at Puerta Maya is a 15 minute walk each way and the line to get back on gets nuts after 2pm. I followed his advice, hit one beach club, and had the most relaxed port day of my whole trip. Now I want to know, do you all plan your shore days tight or just wing it?
