Unpopular opinion: I was the creepy one for 2 years and only figured it out when my neighbor put up a fence
So I live in a duplex in Toledo and my neighbor Deb moved in about 2 years ago. I work early shifts as a dental hygienist so I'm up at 5am making coffee, and I always parked my car in the spot closest to the shared driveway because it was easier to back out. Deb never said anything about it for months, just smiled and waved. Last Tuesday I came home and there was a surveyor out back marking a line, and Deb was standing there with a guy in a truck from a fencing company. She finally told me that for 2 years she had been getting up at 4:30am to move her car because I was blocking her from leaving for her nursing shifts, and she had been late 11 times because of it. She said she didn't want to make it weird so she just dealt with it. I felt like absolute garbage because I genuinely thought we were cool, and the whole time she was quietly scheduling her life around my parking spot. The fence went up 4 days ago and now I have to walk an extra 40 feet around to get to my own mailbox.
