That lady two doors down who only waters her lawn at 3 AM

I swear my neighbor Mrs. Kravitz has been doing this for about 6 months now... every single night right at 3 AM I hear her sprinklers kick on. I finally peeked out my window last Tuesday and she was standing there in a bathrobe just staring at the ground while the water ran. Has anyone else dealt with a neighbor with weird late night habits or am I just being paranoid?

Could you try just having a friendly conversation with her during the day? I had a similar situation with an older gentleman who would walk his dog at midnight, and it turned out he just couldn't sleep well anymore. It helped a lot once I understood he wasn't trying to be strange, he just had a different schedule than me.
