PSA: check your neighbor's porch light schedule before you say anything

I noticed my neighbor in unit 3B has a porch light that clicks on at 2:47 AM every night, not dawn or dusk. Three weeks ago I mentioned it to the landlord and he said the guy moved in with a full bird skeleton collection on his balcony. Now I've got a folding chair propped against my door because last Tuesday that light turned on while I was taking out trash and I caught him just standing there in the dark, not moving. Anyone else have a neighbor with a weird routine that turned out way creepier once you dug into it?
