My neighbor kept setting off his car alarm at 3 AM for a full week straight

Last Tuesday I woke up to my neighbor's car alarm blaring at 3:15 AM, then again at 3:45, and by Friday it had happened 11 times total. Turns out he was trying to catch a raccoon that kept climbing into his engine bay through the wheel well, and the motion sensors kept tripping. Has anyone else dealt with a neighbor doing something so oddly specific just to solve a weird problem?
