My $35 outdoor camera caught my neighbor at 3am

Everyone says ring cameras are overhyped junk but mine caught old Mr. Henderson digging holes in my yard at 3 in the morning last Tuesday. He claimed he was looking for his lost cat but the holes were in a straight line across my whole backyard. Has anyone else had a neighbor do something that feels like they're messing with you on purpose?

Wait, did he really measure a straight line across your whole yard? I had a neighbor who would walk his dog through my flower beds at 2am claiming his dog just liked the smell, but the tracks always went right over my tulips in a perfect path. It's so creepy when someone acts innocent but you can tell they're messing with you on purpose. I'd be out there with a shovel myself checking what he buried.

@sarah_nelson you might be onto something with the shovel idea. Had a buddy who caught his neighbor doing the same thing, turned out the guy was burying old chicken bones to make his property look haunted and lower the home values. Bet Mr. Henderson was planting something, maybe some kind of marker or even a cheap metal detector cache to mess with you. A straight line across the whole yard at 3am is too precise for a lost cat search, that's a planned operation. Get a spade and see what's down there before the holes get filled in.
