Found out my neighbor's weird 3am schedule was actually a shift worker thing

Tbh I looked up my neighbor's name on the county public records site last week after noticing lights flicking on at 3am every single night for 3 months. Turns out he works a night shift at a factory 15 miles away, which explained the late arrivals. What really threw me was the property appraiser site showed his house was bought in 1987 for $48,000. Made me rethink all the spooky assumptions I had built up in my head. Has anyone else dug into public records and found out their creepy neighbor is just a normal person dealing with a weird schedule?

Wait you actually LOOKED UP his public records? That's wild but I get it. I read something online about how a lot of people do that when they get suspicious of neighbors and it usually just shows normal boring stuff. Like there was this one story about a guy who thought his neighbor was running a drug operation but it turned out it was just a home bakery for gluten free bread. The property records thing is really interesting though. 48 grand for a house in 87 sounds CRAZY cheap now. Makes you wonder what that same house is worth today. I bet that shift worker guy has no idea people are checking up on him like this.
