Finally caught my neighbor on video doing the weird backyard waltz

I live in a small town in Ohio and my next door neighbor has this habit of dancing alone in his backyard at 3 AM every single night. For MONTHS I thought I was imagining it or just waking up at the wrong time. Last Tuesday I set up my phone against my window at 2:45 AM and recorded for 20 minutes. Sure enough, at 3:01 he came out in his bathrobe and started slow dancing with a broomstick. He held it like a partner and swayed around the whole yard. I showed it to my sister and she thinks he might be practicing for some event. Has anyone else seen a neighbor do this sort of thing regularly?

Hold on, he slow dances with a BROOMSTICK? Like he's holding it up and everything, not just using it to sweep? That is way weirder than I thought when I first started reading. I thought maybe it was some kind of quirky exercise thing, but a broomstick as a dance partner at 3 AM is a whole different level of strange. You gotta wonder what music is playing in his head, or if he has earbuds in or something. Have you ever heard any music coming from his yard or is it just silence with a guy and a broom? That visual is going to stick with me all day.

Used to roll my eyes at the neighbors complaining about him, ngl. Thought they were just being dramatic about some old dude who couldn't sleep. But the silent slow dance with a broomstick at 3 AM? That's not quirky, that's unsettling. No music either, just him swaying in the dark with his arm around a broom handle like it's a person. Kinda gives me the creeps now that I really picture it.
